Therapy Services

Military, Veteran, and First Responder Specific Therapy
The struggles faced by Military Service Members, Veterans, and First Responders require more than general mental health support—they require a deep understanding of the culture you live and work in, and how that culture impacts your relationships, emotional wellbeing, and day-to-day functioning.
At our practice, we recognize that your experiences are unique, and so is the care you deserve. Our team is committed to providing culturally competent, trauma-informed support tailored to those who serve in any capacity.
We’ve invested in specialized training to ensure our services reflect both clinical excellence and real-world understanding. Whether you're navigating trauma, stress, substance use, or major life transitions, we're here to walk alongside you with respect, empathy, and expertise.
You’ve spent your life serving others. Let us support you.
Trauma Therapy
If you’ve experienced a traumatic event, you may be carrying the weight of anxiety, depression, intrusive thoughts, nightmares, or a constant sense of being on edge. You might feel disconnected from yourself or like you’re simply trying to get through each day.
These responses are common—but they don’t have to be permanent.
Our team specializes in the treatment of trauma and PTSD. With compassionate, evidence-based care, we help clients process their experiences, reconnect with themselves, and move forward with strength, clarity, and hope.
Healing is possible. You don’t have to do it alone. We’re here to walk that journey with you.
Clinician-Assisted Peer Support Group for Post-9/11 Veterans
If you’re a post-9/11 veteran living in New Hampshire, you know how rural it can feel—and how hard it is to connect with people who get it. That’s why Katherin chose to run a clinician-assisted peer support group twice a month. It’s a closed group, which means we do a short screening before you join, just to make sure it’s a good fit. It is open to both men and women.
Each group is about an hour long. We spend the first half going over a clinically relevant topic—something useful that the group helps pick—and the second half is open discussion between members. It’s typically informal, full of dark humor, culturally sensitive, and meant to feel like a safe space where you can be yourself around other vets who understand.
If you’re looking for connection, support, and tools that actually help, this group might be for you.

Our team has extensive experience working with Military Service Members, Veterans, and First Responders, and we understand the cultural norms, expectations, and pressures that come with service. This understanding is at the core of how we approach therapy—with respect, insight, and care that goes beyond the surface.
We use a range of evidence-based treatment modalities, including:
-
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) – to identify and reframe negative thinking patterns and improve coping skills
-
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) – to support emotional regulation, increase mindfulness, and build healthy relationships
-
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) – to help process and resolve traumatic memories in a safe and structured way
-
Motivational Interviewing (MI) – to help clarify values, strengthen motivation, and reduce ambivalence around substance use
-
Trauma-Informed and Culturally Competent Care – with a deep respect for the service culture, including military structure and first responder realities.

We know that healing isn’t one-size-fits-all. Each clinician on our team brings their own training, experience, and therapeutic style to the work—using some or all of these modalities depending on your needs, goals, and preferences.
Our commitment is to meet you where you are. Whether you're just beginning to explore therapy or returning after previous treatment, we’ll take the time to get to know you, understand your story, and develop a plan that works for you—not just clinically, but personally.

Your experience is unique. Your care should be too.
